The folk band has already played at various festivals including; Magdeburger Irish Folk Festival, Folk for Friends Steinheim, Emsdetten Highland Games and Space Mountain Festival Spain. With powerful songs, enchanting ballads and stirring traditional Celtic tunes, they touch the soul of their audience and give them an energy boost.<\/span> The duo consists of the experienced frontman of the band The Assassenachs, the Scottish Steve Dewar (vocals, guitar & bodhr\u00e1n) and the Dutch Lena Dewar (vocals & violin).<\/span><\/p>\n One of Dewar's strengths is that the repertoire is very varied. Traditional Celtic songs, instrumental Celtic tunes and contemporary Scottish songs (written by Steve Dewar) flow effortlessly into each other and transport the audience to many places and times in the Celtic world.
